The Story
It started when Brenna (age 9) exclaimed, “Let’s make our own game!”. It didn’t take long before her sister, Aubree (age 11), joined in and together they began sharing all their crazy ideas for a card game with their parents!
Gathered around the kitchen table playing a couple games and snacking on our regular occurrence of chicken nuggets, we were all suddenly inspired to become a team of creators; coming up with our own wild and weird ideas about passing chickens and nuggets across the table - inventing a unique game of our own! You could probably guess how we came up with the name!
As our family loves playing all sorts of interactive card games - Dutch Blitz, Uno, Bonanza, Taco VS Burrito, Monopoly Deal, Killer Bunnies (to name a few) - we had endless ideas and inspiration for gameplay rules, strategy and… a bit of misfortune.
We didn’t really know we uncovered a golden nugget until we began test-playing our third version of the game, sharing it with friends. They not only wanted to keep playing, but our friends began suggesting advanced gameplay rules and dreamt of all kinds of expansion card ideas that could be added! (We plan to get there!).
With their dad having years of experience in marketing and design - prototype versions of each card came to life for game testing. As our focus was on gameplay rules and creating an interactive card game, we chose to use Ai to generate our images to create the ultimate look for the game. This was no easy task nor is it a secret! It actually became a great opportunity for our kids to learn about the tools and resources of our day-and-age. We knew what images to use based on their laughter and excitement for each card!
Today, we are excited to share CHICK’N NUGGET with YOU, our first tabletop game! Our goal is to create fun and interactive games for people of all ages to enjoy! We truly believe this game is going to be one of your family favorites! What sets this game apart is the spirit of family and collaboration. This adventure displays the power of teamwork, creativity and endless possibilities of imagination from just one household.

As of January 2026, we have a few prototypes for sale, with the goal to launch it on Kickstarter in the near future.
